Jack and Patsy Kistler, 5552 W. Georgetown Road, will be celebrating their golden anniversary with a family ice cream social. Their children surprised them earlier with a trip to Disney.
Mr. Kistler and Patsy DePoy were high school sweethearts and were married May 22, 1959, in Royal Center by the Rev. David St. Clair.
He is a retired millwright at Chrysler Transmission in Kokomo, and she is a homemaker and artist.
Their children are Mark Kistler and his wife, Sue, and Jeffrey, all of Logansport. They also have three grandchildren, Teresa, Nick and Eli, and three great-grandchildren, Blake, Damon and Violet.
