Frank and Carol Gaumer, Logansport, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house and dinner reception given by their children and grandchildren. The event is planned from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at the McHale Complex at Riverside Park.
Frank Gaumer and the former Carol Abbott met through school at Pioneer High School. They were married Dec. 20, 1969, in Baptist-Christian Church in Royal Center by the Rev. Harold Perkins.
He works at The Andersons in Clymers and worked at Wilson’s Foods for 25 years.
She works at Federal Mogul.
Their children are Jake and Cindy Gaumer, Fort Wayne, and Ron and Angie Gaumer, Logansport.
Their grandchildren are Kyle and Phil Sholl, and Nick Gaumer, all of Fort Wayne, and Kylie, Tyler and Brenton Gaumer, all of Logansport.
It is requested that gifts be omitted; instead bring memories.
