Martha Deane Parrett will observe her 90th birthday on Wednesday.
She was born Oct. 6, 1920, in Bringhurst to George and Edith Ayres.
Martha was a 1939 graduate from Flora High School.
She was married to Allen Parrett on Feb. 5, 1942 in Logansport.
They had three children, Mike, Kokomo, and Marsha and Tom are both deceased. They also have five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Martha retired from the Logansport High School Cafeteria after 20 years of service and then spent the next 20 winters in Florida. She does lots of reading and playing bingo.
