Stacy Cox Insurance Agency, which offers insurance through Farmers Insurance Group, relocated to a new office at 606 E. Broadway on Nov. 9.
Previously located at 300 E. Broadway Suite. 101, Cox felt she needed more office space and better exposure.
“Now we have our own office storefront with a better location and better parking,” Cox said.
Cox hopes the move will help her business become noticed. She feels the new location is perfect as it is located across the street from the city building and also gets a lot of foot traffic to the Logansport Public Library.
The business offers all insurance needs, including auto, home, life, renters, high-risk auto, small business and health insurance.
The staff consists of Cox and her assistant, but with the move, Cox may plan to expansion.
“It’s allowed us to expand in the future,” Cox said. “I now have a third office that I didn’t have before. I can now eventually add a third person as business picks up.”
The building underwent renovation and Cox said it looks completely different. A wall was constructed and work was done on the dry wall. The office also received a fresh coat of paint.
Cox will celebrate her third year in business in December. She plans on holding a ribbon cutting ceremony in the near future.
Office hours have changed to 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The business may be reached at 574-753-3900.
Dollar Tree moving in
After remaining vacant for one year, a new tenant will be moving into the former Aldi Foods grocery store.
According to a permit drawn by Rubloff Development Group Inc., a Dollar Tree store will be moving into the 3830 E. Market St. location.
The group recently obtained a permit to complete a $100,000 facade improvement to the building.
