LOGANSPORT — Pioneer Elementary fifth-grade classes did a service project during the Christmas Season. In lieu of having a Christmas Exchange between students, they brought in monetary donations to purchase Spanish books to send to a village in Guatemala. These books were sent to the village where former Logansport resident, now Peace Corps Volunteer, Emily Richardson Fanjoy is living. Approximately 80 books were sent in the latter part of January.
