Dr. Zulkowski to begin residency this summer

BLOOMINGTON — Nicole Zulkowski, daughter of Rob and Tami Robinson, graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine on May 10.

She received the Indiana Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Award for the most outstanding knowledge in diagnosis and treatment of patients in the clinical setting.

She’ll begin residency in July at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis and plans to specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation.



Kinder, Wentzel earn degrees at Manchester

MANCHESTER — Two area students received degrees on May 18 from Manchester College. Mackenzie M. Kinder, Logansport, received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She is a graduate of Logansport High School.

Emily M. Wentzel, Kewanna, received a Bachelor of Science degree in communication studies. She is a graduate of Culver Community High School.

 

Franklin college announces dean’s list

FRANKLIN — Franklin College has announced its dean’s list for the spring 2008 semester. Students named to the dean’s list have achieved academic distinction by earning a 3.5 grade point average or above.

Local and area students include:

Adam W. Huber, senior, son of Chris and Sharon Huber, Francesville.

Sarah Elizabeth Raderstorf, freshman, daughter of Dirk and Lisa Raderstorf, Royal Center.



Slusser named to FC President’s List

FRANKLIN — Franklin College has announced Ann Marie Slusser, senior, to its president’s list for the spring 2008 semester. Students named to the president’s list have achieved academic distinction by earning a 4.0 grade point average.

Slusser is the daughter of Frank and Beth Slusser of Logansport.



McCann earns doctorate at BU

INDIANAPOLIS — Erin Elizabeth McCann, daughter of Jane McCann, Logansport, graduated from Butler University on May 10 with a doctorate of pharmacy degree.

She is a 2002 graduate of Logansport High School.



Roeske named to dean’s list at PCC

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Robyn Kaylyn Roeske, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Roeske, Lucerne, was named to the dean’s list at Pensacola Christian College for academic achievement during the 2008 spring semester.



Ide graduates from Grace College

WINONA LAKE — Adrienne Ruth Ide, daughter of David and Cheryl Ide, Logansport, graduated from Grace College with a bachelor’s degree in counseling and sociology. The commencement ceremony took place at the Orthopaedic Capital Center on the Grace College campus on May 3.

Ide was a 2004 graduate of Pioneer Junior-Senior High School.



Goodrich graduates from Bethel College

MISHAWAKA — More than 500 degrees were presented during Bethel’s 61st commencement exercises in the Wiekamp Athletic Center on May 3. Kerri Goodrich, Winamac, was among these graduates who were honored. Goodrich earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.



Foerg, Shidler receive 4-H scholarships

WINAMAC — The Indiana 4-H Foundation awarded two, $250 scholarships to seniors of Pulaski County.

Linsey Foerg and Cherise Shidler were two of the 191 outstanding 4-H members selected for this award.

Both of these individuals are Pulaski County Junior Leaders and are role models for younger 4-H members.



Cramer named to TSU President’s List

ANGOLA — Kyle Cramer, Logansport, was named to Tri-State University’s President’s List for main campus students in spring semester 2008. Students listed maintained a grade point average of 3.75 or higher while taking a minimum of 15 credit hours.



BSU names dean’s list

MUNCIE — More than 3,000 students were included on the dean’s list from Ball State University during the 2008 spring semester.

Local and area students include:
