The Logansport High School Speech and Debate Team has been recognized by the National Forensic League.
The LHS chapter achieved 100 degrees for tournament competition during the 2008-09 school year, placing the chapter in the top 10 percent of NFL chapters nationwide and qualified for the NFL “100 Club.”
Coach Jessica Kranz has earned her diamond for coaching. Coaches earn one point for every 10 points that students earn for competition. Students will begin their 2009-10 competitive season on Dec. 5 at Fishers, followed by a home tournament on Dec. 12.
The team is coached by Jessica Kranz, Michelle Laird, Joyce Pasel and Tony Dyer.
