Marissa Cothran and Thomas Palmer

Marissa Cothran and Thomas Palmer are planning to be married Oct. 17, 2009, in Jewett Community Church in Jewett, Ill.

Marissa is the daughter of David and Ava Cothran, Effingham, Ill., and Terry and Jan Seibert, Quincy, Ill.

Thomas is the son of Ed and Judy Palmer and Sue Palmer, all of Logansport.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Effingham High School, Effingham, Ill., and a 2006 graduate of St. Louis College of Pharmacy, St. Louis, Mo., earning a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is employed as a pharmacist at Andes Health Mart in Effingham, Ill.

The groom-elect is a 1998 graduate of Lewis Cass High School, and a 2002 graduate of Purdue University earning a bachelor’s degree in agronomy. He is employed as a buyer for Rural King District in Mattoon, Ill.
