Movie preview: “Promised Land”

Plot: A corporate salesman and his partner attempt to convince an economically depressed farming community to sign off on a proposal to sell drilling rights to their properties for natural gas. At first the locals are welcoming, but when a venerable teacher voices objection, other concerned locals help to launch an effective grassroots campaign against the drilling.
