Pacesetters lead the way
Each year as we prepare for our annual campaign, we review the work of the previous year and prepare strategies, communications and most importantly a volunteer team to support our work. Volunteers are the vitality of your United Way. They are our community voice and keep all of our work focused and moving forward.
In that early planning process, we invite a number of businesses to “Lead the Campaign.” There is a prestige and responsibility that come with the title of “Pacesetter.” This year our Pacesetters are a tremendous group of passionate United Way Leaders. The 2012 United Way Campaign Pacesetters are The Andersons of Logansport, Clymers and Walton; Logansport Memorial Hospital; Logansport Savings Bank; Cole Hardwood; Logansport Community Schools; Pioneer School Corporation; Southeastern School Corporation; Small Parts; HTI; ABC Metals; Matthew Warren; Ivy Tech; Steinberger Construction; King Oil; A Raymond Tinnerman; Federal Mogul; and Tyson.
Tyson was the first to run and they began the campaign with a bang!!
Tyson management invites us in and allows us the opportunity to meet with every Tyson employee over the course of a week. We share the work of the United Way and our goals for this campaign.
It’s a fabulous week.
Tyson employees are passionate about the work of this United Way and how it’s changing the lives of people and the community as a whole. Thank you, Tyson employees, for giving, advocating and volunteering for the United Way of Cass County. Collectively, the employees at Tyson raised more than $80,000, and their campaign is still open. Your actions speak loudly!
Thanks to all of the 2012 Pacesetters. Your leadership and campaign efforts set the pace for our community goals to be met. On behalf of the agencies and people that we serve, thank you.
