We all see where the Logansport-Cass County Chamber of Commerce chooses a local business of the month. Bernadene Thimlar, the creator and owner of the Fire Stone Grill, I would say sure is very deserving of one of those. By far she would be more deserving of the new business the year award.
After having the pleasure of dining at the Fire Stone Grill during its grand opening, I can see why Bernadine put the word grill after the Fire Stone. She was out to accomplish creating the best grill restaurant in the country!
I know there are many businesses in this town that offer to grill you a steak but, wow, Bernadene’s Fire Stone Grill’s New York Strip was the best steak I have ever had in my life. I have had steaks grilled in many cities all over this country. Logansport now has the best place in the state, as well in this country, hands down.
It was one of those meals that you are still thinking about the very next day after having it. We all know that happens only a few times in our lives.
It is sad what Bernadene has had to go through just over the parking from this town in order to open the Fire Stone Grill’s doors after being ready since 2009. I personally would like to thank her for sticking it out and fighting, making her dream come to reality. Bernadene, the reality of it all is Logansport is lucky they have the best place in the state or even in this country to enjoy the best grilled steak along with a top dining experience you have created! All I can say is outstanding job, Bernadene!
