PUBLIC FORUM: Thanks for help with fundraiser

— On Nov. 1, the Domestic Violence Task Force of Cass County held its annual Fall Food Sampler fundraiser.

We’re writing to say thank you to all of our community members who attended this event, and those who purchased silent auction baskets and bazaar items as well.

We are especially grateful to Calvary Presbyterian Church for the use of Bigler Hall, to Ray and Chris Bean for their dedication year after year in providing the beautiful decorations, to Elaine Hall for the piano entertainment that evening and to Sheriff Randy Pryor for his message of support.

A huge thank you also to Tyson Foods and to Jim Dibble, Steve McIntyre and John Crowe for their assistance in the food preparation.

The Domestic Violence Task Force is celebrating its 20th year of service to Cass County. Only through our community’s support are we able to continue our mission: To provide awareness and prevention of domestic abuse and to provide assistance for the victims of abuse.

On behalf of the board of directors of the Domestic Violence Task Force of Cass County, thank you, again, to all of those who have contributed, in one way or another, to our programs and to those who participated in the success of this event.

Suki Wilson, board member, Domestic Violence Task Force of Cass County
