The lone survivor of a recent car crash that killed three teens has been released from the hospital.
Twenty-six-year-old Joshua Barcus of Winamac was taken by ambulance to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne on Sept. 10 following a crash that killed his three passengers.
Nineteen-year old Erron Stoddard of Winamac, 19-year-old Brandon Lee Miller of Winamac, and 19-year-old Bruce Leearmel Wireman were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Barcus was driving a Ford Explorer that struck the back of a parked semitrailer in Royal Center before dawn Sept. 10.
Barcus was listed in critical condition in the days following the wreck.
Cass County Sheriff Randy Pryor said Barcus sustained injuries to his right leg and arm. Pryor didn't know how extensive those injuries were, though.
Barcus has since been released from the hospital and is staying with relatives, Pryor said.
