LEDF President Kuker earns IEDC recognition

Logansport-Cass County Economic Development President Nolan “Skip” Kuker is the 2007 recipient the Outstanding New Economic Developer of the Year award. The award is presented by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and recognizes an individual who has attained outstanding achievement in the first five years of his or her economic development career.

A panel of economic development experts consisting of members from public and private sectors selected Kuker as recipient.

Kuker will receive the award at the recognition dinner during IEDC’s 2007 Annual Conference in Scottsdale, Ariz.

“I am honored to be selected for this award,” Kuker said in a press release. “The nomination by Bill Petranoff of Duke Energy and Bill Keir of Tipton County, along with the selection by my peers is humbling. I look forward to many more years of work for the Logansport and Cass County community.”
