Two individuals wanted for questioning in three counties were arrested over the weekend after a Cass County Sheriff’s deputy noticed their vehicle parked at a motel in Logansport.
Officers wanted to speak with 46-year-old Timothy G. White of Wabash and his girlfriend, 34-year-old Shelly S. Hale of Peru, in conection with numerous home burglaries that have occurred since September.
On Saturday morning, while on routine patrol, Cass County Sheriff’s Deputy John O’Connor observed the couple’s vehicle at a Logansport motel. Officers from the Indiana State Police, the Cass County Sheriff’s Department and the Logansport Police Department obtained information that the pair had rented a room for the evening. Officers made contact with the couple, who surrendered without incident.
The two face felony charges of burglary and possession of stolen property.
Indiana State Police Detective Mike Tarrh also served White with a Wabash County arrest warrant alleging two felony counts of forgery.
He and Hale are both held without bond in the Cass County jail.
Police say the investigation is still under way and more charges are expected.
