Y program focusing on youth weight
Registration is being taken for the Pounds for Power program at the Cass County Family Y.
This five-week program is a weight management and activity challenge for all youth from fifth to 10th grades. The program will focus on cardio, strength training and nutrition.
Each participant will get one-on-one attention to develop the best program to meet their individual needs.
The program runs May 13 to June 15.

Pulaski hosts senior event Saturday
WINAMAC — Pulaski County Human Services is presenting May Day “Senior Citizens Gone Wild” Fundraiser. The event will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the West Central Auxiliary Gym and is for senior citizens and families.
Activities included are Corn Hole tourney, Old Timer baseball, hoops, rockers, Hula Hoops, relays, cake walks, games and concessions.

Corporate Challenge signups begin soon
The Cass County Family YMCA will be conducting its annual Corporate Challenge this fall.
Registration begins in May. Companies interested in participating in the Corporate Challenge this year should call Stacy Lods at (574) 753-5141.
Lions announce pie pickup time
ROYAL CENTER — Pick up day for those who ordered pies or noodles from the Royal Center Lions will be on May 9.
Items will be available from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Royal Center Fire Station.
