— Logansport's boys basketball team recorded a big win in North Central Conference play Friday night against New Castle in the Berry Bowl.
This was a close one that was never seperated by more than a couple points. But when the final horn sounded the Berries came out on top of a 50-49 win.
The Berries (9-6, 2-2 NCC) showed great patience on the offensive end of the floor and worked the ball for high-percentage shots. The result early was a 29-24 halftime lead.
Antonio Penny was the only Logan player in double figures with 24 points.
Korey Ryan led New Castle (9-5, 2-2) with a game-high 25 points in the loss.
It was Logan's first win over New Castle in four years.
