Jennings dazzles in Junior All-Star debut
Logansport’s Whitney Jennings impressed in her debut for the Indiana Junior All-Star team.
Jennings scored a game-high 23 points to lead Indiana to a 79-67 win over Kentucky Friday at Greenfield-Central High School. -

Jennings, Heath to team up again for Junior All-Stars
Whitney Jennings isn’t the only point guard on this year’s Indy Star Indiana Junior All-Star girls team that has called Logansport home.
Her good friend Jaclyn Heath is also a member of the team. Heath is the daughter of former Logansport boys basketball coach Skeeter Heath, who coached the Berries for three seasons from 2000 to 2003. -

Penny to play for JC power Cochise
Logansport senior Antonio Penny has decided on where he will play college basketball, with an eye on playing at the NCAA Division I level in the future.
Penny has signed a national letter of intent to play at Coshise College, a junior college in Douglas, Ariz. Douglas is located in the southeast corner of the state. -
Logansport’s Calisto places 5th at state in 800
It was a breakout performance on the state’s biggest stage.
Logansport junior Alex Calisto finished in fifth place in the 800-meter run at the state finals with a time of 1:55.06 Friday night at Indiana University in Bloomington. - More Local Sports Headlines
