Jerry A. and Donna J. Davis celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary by taking a trip to Florida late last November with family and friends.
Mr. Davis and Donna Newnes met through Donna’s older sister. Jerry proposed to Donna in his 1965 red Mustang in the parking lot at Happy Burger. They were married Jan. 18, 1970, in the United Methodist Church in Logansport by Henry G. Weber.
She works in the cafeteria for Logansport schools, and he is a journeyman carpenter at Leo Brown Construction.
Their children are Tina Marie and Donnie McIntire, Logansport; Tammy and Mike Richie, Logansport; Dr. Jessica Jones and Jay, Richmond; and Erika Coffman and Travis Blank, Robinson, Ill. They also have 13 grandchildren.
