    Roger Budde has been making maple syrup since he was 5. His grandfather introduced him to the art form while growning up in Wisconsin. Turning 78 this week, Budde's syrup is a local favorite and has been shipped to other countries. He has even sold syrup to Vermont residents who say his is better than back home. It's a labor of love for Budde, who talks to area students about how syrup is make.
