LOGANSPORT — Jeff D. James, 50, Logansport, passed away at 10:19 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on Oct. 28, 1962 in Logansport, he was the son of Charles R. Sr. and Patty M. (Knapp) James.
He formerly worked for Rick Lucas Lawncare and Leo Spitznogle Farms.
Jeff attended Refuge Worship Center in Logansport. He was an avid Nascar and Dale Earnhart fan and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Patty James; son, Jeremy Piland; brothers, Joe T. James and wife Jennie, Jerry D. James and wife April, Jon C. James and wife Denise, Jeremy D. James and wife Stacey; sisters, Jennifer S. Rogers, Janice C. Brumett and husband Jeff, Jeannine K. Goodman and husband Cary, and also Julie D. Utter and husband Jason, all of Logansport. Jeff is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles R. James Sr.; brothers, Charles R. James, Jr. and Jamie James and special niece, Kimber James.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Marocco–Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Payton officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
