GALVESTON — Corey Adam Clevenger, 30, Galveston, died at 10:25 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Community Howard Regional Health System in Kokomo.
Born Sept. 3, 1982, in Kokomo, he was the son of Kevin D. Clevenger and Linda Palmer Jackson, both of whom survive.
He worked at Kerasotes Theaters in Kokomo and was a spokesman. He graduated from Lewis Cass Junior-Senior High School and attended Indiana University in Kokomo.
He enjoyed reading, music, movies and loved his cat, Blackie, and spending time with his family. He was a devoted Cub fan.
Surviving are his father, Kevin D. Clevenger, Galveston; sister, Brooke Clevenger and fiancé, Mark Miller, and son, Tate, Galveston; mother, Linda Jackson, Kokomo; half sister, Megan Jackson, Kokomo; half brother, Nathan Perry, Lafayette; niece, Ameerah Chiamopoulos, Kokomo; paternal grandmother, Jo Anna Clevenger, Peru; and maternal grandmother, Coleen and Everett Leach, Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Von Clevenger.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston. Burial will be in Galveston Cemetery, Galveston.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
