Richard ‘Dick’ Lee Robertson

LOGANSPORT — Richard “Dick” Lee Robertson, 73, Logansport, passed away at 1 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at his residence. Born Aug. 8, 1939, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Oral and Bessie (Smith) Robertson.

Dick was formerly employed at the Logansport State Hospital, Delphi Community School Corp., and most recently, he formerly owned and operated Dick’s Cleaning Service for 12 years.

He enjoyed throwing horseshoes, fishing, mushroom hunting, bowling, drawing and playing cards. He was also an avid Purdue basketball fan and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughters, Kelly Wally, Logansport, Christina Hardy, Logansport, and Holly Trainer (Jason), Logansport; a brother, Donald Robertson, Georgetown; sisters, Helen Crockett, Royal Center, Patricia Hall (Jerry), Headlee, Wilma Bowman, Logansport, and Sandra Lind (John), Lockport; grandchildren; Kyle, Tyler and Coby Hardy, Jacob Banter, Cody Clark, Karlie Carrier, Sarah and Brandon Trainer, and Trent, Derick, Danyelle, and Desiree Robertson.

He was preceded in death by one son, Ralph Robertson; one brother, Charles Ralph Robertson; and two sisters, Geneva Kozma and Marilyn Jean Weaver.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Dirk Raderstorf officiating.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clymers Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
