LOGANSPORT —
Louis “Rudy” Zech, 79, Logansport, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at his residence. Born on March 2, 1933, he was the son of the late Louis and Anna Dallman Zech.
On Oct. 19, 1956, in Logansport, he married Tressa “Sharon” Williamson, who survives.
Rudy retired from Federal Mogul. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Korea. Rudy enjoyed taking care of animals, fishing, gardening, hunting, and being outdoors.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, Dale Zech, Logansport, and Mark (Fran) Zech, Washougal, Wash.; one daughter, Lisa (Kenny) Wheeldon, Burnettsville; four grandchildren, Brett (Brianna) Zech, Washougal,
Wash., Brandon Zech, Oklahoma City, Okla., Kendra Wheeldon, Burnettsville, and April Wheeldon, Burnettsville; one great-grandson, Travis Zech, Washougal, Wash.; and one sister, Annette (Don) Williamson, Logansport.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Phillip Zech.
Services with full military rites will be at 7 p.m. Friday in Gundrum Funeral Home, with the Rev. Adam Speicher officiating.
Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
