Lorraine Tunis, 76, Winamac, died at 1:25 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Hickory Creek at Winamac, Winamac.
She was born June 7, 1936, in Chicago to the late Joseph Zakrajsek and Louise Foreman Zakrajsek.
Lorraine was a Certified Nursing Assistant and had worked for many years at Hickory Creek at Winamac. She was a former member of the Eagles #2580 Auxillary, Winamac. Lorraine enjoyed bingo, cross word puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include daughters, Louise Reno, Winamac, Cindy (Jim) Trusty, LaPorte, Susan (Jeff) Riley, Amarillo, Texas, sons, Elige (Denise) Tunis, Peoria, Ill., Don (LeAnn) Tunis, Winamac, Ron (Becka) Tunis, Winamac, Roy (Penny Hurlburt) Tunis, Winamac, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and sister, Rosemary Cameron, Mission Viejo, Calif.
She was preceded in death father, Joseph Zakrajsek, mother, Louise Foreman Zakrajsek, son, Robert Tunis, two grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. (EST) Friday at Frain Mortuary, Winamac, with Pastor Paul Begley officiating. Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. (EST) Friday at Frain Mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
