Dorothy “Pam” Ellison

ROYAL CENTER — Dorothy “Pam” Ellison, 57, Royal Center, passed away at 2:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born on July 16, 1955, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Merle and Carole (Brewer) Rogers. On June 26, 1982, she married William “Bill” Ellison. He survives.

She was a 1973 Pioneer High School graduate.

Pam worked in the office for Traylor Chemical Inc., in Royal Center for over 30 years until its closure in 2008. She also worked part time at Roger’s Auction House, Royal Center.

Pam was a member of Burnettsville Christian Church and she enjoyed fishing, camping, genealogy and needlework.

Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Ellison, Royal Center, son, William Cory Ellison (Ellen), Fort Wayne, mother, Carole Rogers, Logansport, brothers, Gary Rogers, Monticello, Larry Rogers, Royal Center, and Terry Rogers (Tamara), Royal Center, brother-in-law, Dennis Ellison (Jan), Logansport and sisters-in-law, Peg Glenn (Dennis), Noblesville, and Nancy Ellison, Seattle, Wash. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Rogers.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel, with Chaplain Scott Ellison officiating. Burial will be at Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon and 3 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, American Heart Association and the American Liver Association.
