John Raymond Pugh

WINAMAC — John Raymond Pugh, 58, Winamac, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 11, 1954, in Winamac to Lawrence C. Pugh and Gladys Marie Strand Pugh.

John enjoyed riding his mo-ped and going to visit friends and family with his brother Tim.

He had been a painter for several years and also been employed with several farmers in the area. A talented mechanic, he also enjoyed tinkering with engines. John was very kind hearted and always ready and willing to help anyone.

Survivors include sisters, Alice M. (Jerry) Rankin, Winamac, and Mary Ann Fields, Winamac; and a brother, Timothy Joseph Pugh, Winamac.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence C. Pugh; his mother, Gladys Marie Strand Pugh; a brother, Robert William Pugh; and nephews, Jerry Joe Rankin and Philip Edward Fields.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Frain Mortuary, Winamac, with Pastor David Norris officiating. Burial will be at Mount Zion-Franklin Township Cemetery, Winamac. Visitation will be after noon Wednesday at Frain Mortuary.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
