LOGANSPORT —
Daniel Ray Wilson, 58, Logansport, passed away at 11:35 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, in Northwood Village, Kokomo.
Born June 30, 1954, in Baraboo, Wis., he was the son of the late Leigh and Katherine (Griffith) Wilson.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Daniel served his country during the Vietnam War. He loved the outdoors. He was a hunter and a fisherman. He also enjoyed woodworking.
Surviving are five daughters Katrina (Robert) Masters, Walton, Casandra (Derek) Shilling, Logansport, Tia (David) Ward, Bush, Ill., Monique (Kirk) Collins, Logansport, and Shawnna Wilson and her
companion Shane Conrad, Logansport; 15 grandchildren; four brothers, Scott (Julie) Wilson, Richard (Lynn) Wilson, Thomas Wilson, and Leigh “Butch” Wilson; and three sisters, Madonna Topper, Jan (Sonny) Huebsch and Gloria Frayer. Daniel was preceded in death by two sisters, Bea Griffin and Sharon Kirch.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Fisher Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Kyle Gennicks officiating. Full military honors will follow the service at the funeral chapel garden.
