Goldie May White, 78, Winamac, died at 7:05 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 in Pulaski Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 14, 1934, in Hendrickson, Mo., the daughter of George Edward and Julia Clementine Autrey Hendrickson.
Goldie married Murle Allen White on Dec. 15, 1950, in Clay County, Ark., and he died May 27, 1999.
Goldie was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was baptized on May 9, 1965. Goldie served in many capacities in the church especially as a Sunday school teacher.
Goldie was a homemaker and a babysitter She enjoyed spending time with children, embroidering, cooking and baking. Goldie loved reading her Bible and giving Bibles to children.
Survivors include her children, Joyce (Carl) Thomas, Winamac, Myrl Toulie Feece, Dexter, Mo., Allen (Joyce) White, Winamac, and Patricia (George) Deka, Mishawaka; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Dollie (Charles) Horn, St. Louis, Mo.; and two brothers, Virgil (Joan) Hendrickson, Cape Girardeau, M0., and Edward Hendrickson, St. Louis, Mo.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Sarah Feece.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Frain Mortuary, Winamac, with Pastor David Norris officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be given to Calvary Baptist Church.
