LOGANSPORT — Marjorie Ann Donato, 82, Logansport, passed away peacefully at 2:05 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born April 10, 1930, in Logansport, she was one of 11 children born to Merle and Effie Sprowl Gallaway.
Marjorie worked for RBM Manufacturing and Hildebrandt’s Fishing and Tackle. She enjoyed art, crafts and sewing. Her greatest loves were her family, music and flowers. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, John Donato; daughters, Margie Ann Williams and fiancé, Brad, Frankton, Janet and husband, Fidel Bongayan, Lafayette, Joanne and husband, Shawn Gipson, Lafayette, Gina and husband, Nick Adams, and Angie and husband, Randy Hayden, all of Logansport; brother, Richard and wife, Angie Gallaway; sisters, Virginia Ricci and Joan Hopper, both of Logansport, and Judy Drummond, Cocoa, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and also great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Don Gallaway; sisters, Clara Bridenbaugh, Carol Abston, Rosella Mayhill, Norma Jean Hines and Eleanor Scagnoli.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Marocco–Rans Funeral Chapel with Deacon Juan Rodriguez officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the service on Friday.
