Mary M. Miller

MONTICELLO — Mary M. Miller, 84, Monticello, died at 2:15 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at her residence.

She was born April 20, 1928, in Frankfort to the late Homer and Bessie (Garrison) Justice. Her marriage was to Wayne T. Miller, Sr. on Nov. 23, 1949, in Burnettsville. He preceded her in death Oct. 8, 1962.

Mary was employed in housekeeping at Indiana Beach and the showboat Riviera. At one point she worked at Bryans Manufacturing.

She was a member of the VFW Woman’s Auxiliary and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, word search books, playing cards, Yahtzee, fishing, and traveling.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara A. Greenen (companion, Kenny Felker), Monticello, Nancy (Larry) Brooks, Idaville, Linda (Garry) Rush, Logansport; two sons, Robert L. (Gloria) Miller, Logansport, Wayne T. Miller, Jr. (companion, Connie Carmichael), Logansport; a sister Esther Cligapeel, Flora; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mabel Largen; and two brothers, Fred and Clarence Justice.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Dodson officiating.

Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
