Tony J. Jeroski

LAKE BRUCE — Tony J. Jeroski, 91, Lake Bruce, passed away at 2:32 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, in his lake residence.

Born March 10, 1922, he was the son of Louis and Anna Jedzrowski. He was married to Betty Burrous, who preceded in death in 1971. He was then married Thelma Rhody, who preceded in death in 1998.

Tony owned and operated the American Window Cleaning Service.

He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and occasionally attended St. Ann’s Church, Kewanna, after moving to the lake. He also enjoyed the kindness and fellowship of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church family at Lake Bruce.

Tony enjoyed woodworking, decorating for the holidays, gardening and flowers and the companionship of his dog, Missy.

For several years Tony resided at WoodBridge, where he utilized his love of gardening and especially enjoyed painting and instruction at the Logansport Art Association. At WoodBridge he was once named “Chef for the Day.”

In earlier years, Tony had been a member of the Logansport Eagles and Knights of Columbus. Tony’s lifelong motto was “work hard every day” and if you don’t have enough time to get something done, “get up earlier.”

Surviving are a daughter, Terrie Wiles (Rick), Indianapolis; sons, Anthony Jeroski, Lake Bruce, and Ed Jeroski (Jill), Logansport; grandchildren, Blake and Haleigh Wiles and Tracey Reeser (Chris), three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kroeger Funeral Home with Father Donald Eder officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in the form of Masses, or contributions to the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church or the Logansport Art Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
