Robert T. Buck

LOGANSPORT — Robert T. Buck, 73, Logansport, died at 4:37 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at Logansport Memorial Hospital.          

Robert was born March 22, 1939, in North Judson to James Otis Buck and Elsie Ruth Fritz. He married Carolyn “Sue Peters” on Dec. 17, 1960, in Winamac.

He retired from Westside Union School District in Lancaster, Calif., and the 146th Air Lift Wing California Air National Guard.

A 1958 graduate of Winamac High School, he was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Logansport. Robert was a licensed amateur radio operator going by the call sign of WB6UCO. He also was a Penn Central Railroad enthusiast.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Buck, Logansport; daughter, Michelle Buck, Lebanon, Ohio; son, Michael Buck and wife Kathy, Lebanon, Ohio; grandson, Alec Buck, Lebanon, Ohio; granddaughter, Lauren Buck, Lebanon, Ohio; brother, Jim Buck, Metaire, La.; brother, Ron Buck, Peru; sister, Barbara Buck and husband Joe, Logansport; nephew, Ryan Buck and wife Rebecca, Logansport; niece, Abigail Sell and husband David, Logansport; niece, Barbara Davenport and husband John, Peru; great-nieces, Carrie Becker and husband Matthew, Fort Wayne, Baileigh Buck, Logansport, Claire Buck, Logansport, and Maddison Sell, Logansport; and great-nephews Caleb Sell, Logansport, Joseph Sell, Logansport, Isaac Sell, Logansport, and Samuel Buck, Logansport.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Janet Buck.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Church of the Nazarene with Dr. Horace Smith officiating. Burial with full military graveside rights will be at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the First Church of the Nazarene and one hour prior to the service Saturday.

Donations may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene in Logansport or the Fuller House Project.
