LOGANSPORT — Kathryn J. Foust, 82, Logansport, passed away at 3:34 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Chase Center.

Born Aug. 8, 1929, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Mary Marjorie McNaught Sherman. 

She was a 1947 graduate of Twelve Mile High School.

Kathryn retired in 1991 from Federal-Mogul after 27 years. She was a member of Church of Christ at Logansport, and she enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Charles W. Deitz II, Logansport, Mary Wells and husband, Richard, Logansport, Deborah Horton and husband, Richard, Logansport, and Elizabeth Romine and husband, Lee, Cotesville; stepdaughter, Patty Dooley and husband, Dan, Logansport; sister, Ellen Yoder and husband, Dean, Colorado; grandchildren, Richard Wells II, David Wells and Jessica Hines; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Sherman, Donald Sherman and Merle Sherman; and also one sister, Mary Alice Guy.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Jeff Strite officiating.

Visitation will be from  4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a memorial garden.
