Virginia A. Moore

LOGANSPORT — Virginia A. Moore, 88, Logansport, passed away at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born May 22, 1924, in Deer Creek, she was the daughter of George and Ruth Conrad Cabiness.

On Dec. 29, 1943, in Logansport, she was married to Howard E. Moore, who preceded her in death June 18, 2001.

Virginia was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church. She was retired from Hart Schaffner Marx in Rochester. She enjoyed playing bingo and euchre and watching game shows on television.

Surviving are a son, Jeff L. (Kathy) Moore, New Port Richey, Fla.; daughter, Rita Luse, Logansport; grandchildren, Brian and Mindy Luse, Christine and Chris Bundy and Patrick and Susan Moore; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Bundy, Claire Bundy, Mallory Luse, Madison Luse, Jordane Carroll, Jacob Carroll and Evan Moore.

A brother, Bernard Cabiness, preceded her in death.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Kroeger Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Mankell will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
