Nellie E. (Frushour) Dotterer

BRADENTON, Fla. — Nellie E. (Frushour) Dotterer, 95, Bradenton, Fla., formerly Logansport, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Nov. 14, 2012, at the Heritage Park Care & Rehab Facility, Bradenton.

She was born on Nov. 27, 1916, in Logansport to George A. And Myrtle (Copeland) Frushour, both deceased. On Oct. 25, 1947, she married Robert W. Dotterer, who preceded her in death March 28, 2005.

Nellie retired from Muelhausen Springs and later from the Logansport State Hospital.

She was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church, Logansport, and an associate member of the Central Christian Church, Bradenton. Nellie was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Stars in Logansport and Royal Center, the Elkettes and American Legion Auxiliary, Logansport.

Survivors include her daughter, Ann M. Dotterer, Ellenton, Fla.; one sister, Ruth Alber, Jensen Beach, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Helen J. Dotterer and Ruth E. Briner, both of Peru; nieces, Elizabeth A. (David) Miller, Wabash, Janet S. (Ronald), Douglas, Peru, and Sybil Sutton, Monterey, several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, two brothers, three sisters-in-law and two nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Manasota Memorial Park Funeral Home, Bradenton.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Spring Creek Cemetery, Logansport, with the Rev. Doug Mankell officiating. Fisher Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, 3355 - 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34205, or Calvary Presbyterian Church, 701 Spencer St., Logansport, IN 46947.
