Nina M. Fox

A memorial service for Nina M. Fox, 73, Walton, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Kroeger Funeral Home.

She passed away at 10:38 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at her residence.

Born May 10, 1935, in Fremont, Mich., she was the daughter of George and Edna Herin Hunt. She was married April 8, 1952, to Charles W. Fox, who preceded in death Oct. 3, 1999.

Nina was a homemaker. She had a love of life and enjoyed making people laugh and smile. She especially enjoyed bingo.

Surviving are son, Roger (Cheryl) Fox, West Virginia; daughter, Shomay (Joe) Sarver, Peru; brothers, Milo Hunt, Walton, and Carl (Lois) Hunt, Hesperia, Mich.; sister, Inez Patterson, Fremont, Mich.; grandchildren, Cathy “Vixen” Fox, Cyndi Fox, Brook Sarver and Jade Sarver; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Kim Fox; brothers, Hugh Hunt and Ivan Hunt; and sister, Veva Decker.

The Rev. Michael Brook Sarver will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in Hesperia, Mich.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Special Olympics.
