Richard Leeroy Razer

Services for Richard Leeroy Razer, 63, Kokomo, formerly of Logansport, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Fisher Funeral Chapel.

He died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, in his residence.

Born Sept. 9, 1944, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Willard and Mildred Osborn Razer. On June 13, 1971, in Logansport, he was married to Edith Beebout, who preceded in death Aug. 1, 1982. He was married July 4, 1997, in Kokomo, to Carolyn Miller, who survives.

He was employed with Daimler-Chrysler for 32 years.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a member of the VFW.

Richard was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Kokomo.

Surviving with his wife are four sons, Keith Razer, Galveston, Cory Razer and his wife, Kim, Greentown, and Leo Riley and Clint Davis, both of Kokomo; two daughters, Crystal Kline and her husband, Russ, Lake Cicott, and Samantha Norton, Kokomo; two brothers, Edward Razer and John Razer, both of Logansport; two sisters, Betty Conrad, Winchester, and Barbara Harrison, Rochester; and 14 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.

Pastor Brad Swain will officiate. Interment, with full military honors, will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Howard Regional Hospice Services.
