Dorothy J. Bullick

GALVESTON — Services for Dorothy J. Bullick, 85, Galveston, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Murray-Weaver Funeral Home.

She passed away at 5:55 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009, in St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo.

Born Feb. 20, 1924, in Howard County, she was the daughter of Leonard A. and May Moss Kile. She was married March 11, 1943, in Indianapolis, to Melford E. Bullick, who preceded in death July 11, 1992.

She was a homemaker and attended Onward Christian Church in Onward.

Dorothy enjoyed her church and traveling with her husband.

Surviving are children, David and Donna Bullick, Walton; Beverly Cunningham, Walton, Kenneth and Sally Bullick, Walton, Barbara and the Rev. Thomas Chestnut, Indianapolis, Phil and Emma Bullick, Galveston, and Sharon and Carl Memmer, Kokomo; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Richard and Hilda Kile, Galveston; and sister, Rosemary Lynas, Walton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant sister; and son-in-law, Dick Cunningham.

The Rev. Rod Mason will officiate. Burial will be in Galveston Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Onward Christian Church, Onward.
