Patsy J. “Pat” Sedam

Patsy J. “Pat” Sedam, 75, Logansport, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 9, 1937 in Logansport to the late Ivan and Mary Engle Boller. On May 4, 1977 in Watseka, Ill., Pat married Dean A. Sedam who survives.

Pat retired from the Eaton Corporation in Winamac. She had also worked at Elco Industries, Logan Machine and the R.B.M.

She was a member of the Niddee Shrine Guild, VFW Post No. 3790 Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Post No. 60 Ladies Auxiliary. Pat attended Logansport High School, Wright Beauty College, and was the former owner of the Hair Depot. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, genealogy, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving along with her husband are four daughters; Deborah (Fred) Brazzle; Donna Lambert; Pamela (Dave) Johnson; and Cheri (Jim) Ling, all of Logansport; two step sons, David (Susan) Sedam, of Kokomo, and

Larry Sedam of Logansport; three sisters, Rose (Butch) Clem, Logansport; Sharon (Don) Curnutt, Monticello; Carol (Bob) Berkshire, Logansport; one brother, Garry (Barbara) Boller, Logansport; 11 grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory. Pastor Jay McKinley will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, also in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Logansport Shrine Club Transportation Fund.
