ROCHESTER —
Herbert D. McIntire, 86, longtime Fulton County resident, passed away at midnight Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Life Care Center of Rochester.
Survivors include two sisters, Rowena Bryant (Kenny deceased) of Rochester and Doris Crabill (Dr. Del) of Charleston, Ill.; one brother, Leonard McIntire (Jane) of Crawfordville, Fla.; and one sister-in-law, Patsy McIntire of Seguin, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as special children, Bob Clyde, Mike Clyde, Gwen Hott and Nancy Luketich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lawrence McIntire and Alonzo Wilmer McIntire; and his wife, Mary Jane, and special friend, Violet Clyde.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Kewanna Chapel. Services will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Chaplain Jason See officiating.
Burial with military rites will be conducted at Citizens IOOF Cemetery in Kewanna.
