GALVESTON —
Joyce L. Brown, 71, Galveston, died at 6:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Woodbridge Health Care Center, Logansport.
She was born May 12, 1941, in Kokomo, the daughter of Chester and Phoebe (Arion) Brittain. She married Ron G. Brown in 1972.
She was a homemaker. She was also a member of East Main Street Church of God in Logansport and enjoyed her pets.
Survivors included husband, Ron Brown, Galveston, daughters, Linda Pense, Logansport, and Kim (Randy) Cooper, Mooresville, brother, Chester L. (Becky) Brittain, Kokomo, grandchildren, Rachael Wines, Plainfield, Ashley (Matt) Anderson, Mooresville, Elizabeth and Rochelle Pense, Logansport, great-grandchildren, Chole Mynatt, Emma Mynatt and Brody Anderson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sue Hollingsworth.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Murray Weaver Funeral Home, Galveston, with Bill Heinzman officiating. Burial will be at Musselman Cemetery, Flora. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at Murray Weaver Funeral Home.
