Charles Donald Maw

LOGANSPORT — Charles Donald Maw, 77, Logansport, died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born July 2, 1935, in Chicago, he was the son of Charles Leonard Maw and Frances Freestrom. He was married Sept. 23, 1961, in Logansport, to Phyllis J. Kesler.

Charles retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Elks Lodge 66, the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association and Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, muzzle loading, dogs and his grandchildren. Charles was an Army veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Maw, Logansport; son, Charles Bryan Maw and Krissy Snay, Logansport; daughters, Lori McPike and husband, Joseph, Indianapolis, and Lisa Lindsey and husband, Scot, Powell, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Charles Bradley Maw, Seymour, Parker, Jordan, and Lauren Lindsey, Powell, Ohio, Braden and Riley Maw, Logansport, and Joey McPike, Indianapolis.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gundrum Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Mankell officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church.
