Thomas Neal Rhodenbaugh

LOGANSPORT — Thomas Neal Rhodenbaugh, 72, died at 10:53 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, of complications from Alzheimer’s Disease.

Tom was born Nov. 4, 1939, in Logansport, to Thomas and Evah Rhodenbaugh. He was married Nov. 7, 1960, to Mary Louise Williams Rhodenbaugh.

He retired from Delco Electronics in 1999 after working as a model maker for 33 years. For more than 30 years, Tom was an enthusiastic member of the Sound Celebration barbershop quartet and Kokomo Men of Note chorus. In addition to singing, Tom loved spending time with family and friends. Over the years, his passions included fishing, hiking, running, camping, canoeing and, more recently, playing disc golf.

Tom is survived by his wife, Mary Louise; son, Chris Rhodenbaugh and wife, Michelle; daughter, Janice Holly and boyfriend, Jay Boyd; son, Kevin Rader-Rhodenbaugh and wife, Marcey; sister-in-law, Kathy Rhodenbaugh; granddaughters, Jama (Jonathan) Escalante, Heather Bilby, Amber Bilby (Shaun Tuttle), Kylie (Kyle) Durr and Chanel Bilby; great-granddaughters, Laney Tuttle and Ava McKeephen; and great-grandson, Ivan Escalante; in addition to several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kent Rhodenbaugh.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Jeff Harlow officiating.  

Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
