Phillip L. Penn

BURROWS — Phillip L. Penn, 70, Burrows, Ind., died at 5:10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at his residence.

Penn was born April 3, 1942, in Carroll County to Raymond Lee Penn and Hazel Mary McCabe. He married Sandra Sue Snyder on June 20, 1959, in Logansport. She preceded him in death Dec. 2, 1988. He then married Terri Doyne Jones Jan. 1, 1990, in Logansport. She survives.

Phillip retired in 1989 after 30 years as a truck driver for Gangloff Industries. He was a member of the Rockfield Christian Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Terri Penn, Burrows; four sons, Tim Penn and wife Fonda, Monticello, Dennis Penn and wife Joann, Flora, Boyd Penn and wife Linda, Big Fork, Minn., and Charlie Penn, Logansport; one daughter Kristi Homburg and husband Paul III, Logansport; two stepdaughters, Jodi Fivecoate, Santee, Calif. and Beth Justice, Logansport; a daughter-in-law, Vicky Penn, Logansport; three brothers, Bill Penn and wife Sue, Delphi, Carl Penn and wife Carolyn, Delphi, and Pat Penn, Burrows; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; one son, Steven L. Penn, one brother, Gene Penn, two sisters, Phyllis and Mary Bruck.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Rockfield Christian Church with the Rev. Bob Cree officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to the Rockfield Christian Church.

A time of fellowship will be held in the church basement immediately following the service.
