Stephen Lynn McKinney

LOGANSPORT — Stephen Lynn McKinney, formerly of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012.

Stephen was born May 15, 1951, in Logansport, son to the late Charles Thomas McKinney and Flora Belle Skiles McKinney.  

Surviving are his wife, Patricia A. McKinney, El Mirage, Ariz.; son, Adam McKinney, El Mirage, Ariz.; daughter, Erin McKinney, Kokomo; stepson, William J. Ziemann and his wife, Claire; three stepgrandchildren; his brothers, Thomas (Barb) McKinney, Deer Creek, Jeff (Corrine) McKinney, Converse, and Robert (Vanessa) McKinney, Camden; and sister, Lisa Stull, Kokomo.

Steve had many passions in life, to include his motorcycles and remote control airplanes. Both brought Steve such a feeling of freedom and his love for the outdoors. Another passion for Steve was his family and friends, for which, he will be deeply missed.

Steve also has had the wonderful opportunity to continue helping others in life as he donated three organs, and three people will be able to continue in a healthier life. Steve will live on amongst us by giving others a better quality in life.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Menke Funeral Home in Sun City, Ariz.
