LOGANSPORT — Brandon R. Suter, 16, Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012, in Fort Wayne.
Born in Fort Wayne, Brandon was entering his junior year at Homestead High School. He was a longtime member of the 4-H program. Brandon enjoyed drawing, fishing, deer hunting, cars, guns and country music. He also enjoyed watching the History Channel and learning about the military. Brandon was looking forward to joining the Marines after high school. He loved being around his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his mother, Mary (Marc) Schultz, Fort Wayne, and siblings Dustin and Joey Schultz; father, Timothy (Cathy) Suter, Fort Wayne, and siblings Alex, Dustin, Cody, Breanna, Travis and Kyle; grandma, Mildred “Granny” Schmicker, Winamac; grandparents, Kenneth (Janet) Suter, Fort Wayne; grandma, Nancy Buckmaster, Kendallville; grandparents, Patti “Noni” (Peter Winkler) Pardi, Scottsdale, Ariz.; great-grandma, Mary Wareing, Kendallville; and many awesome aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brandon was preceded in death by grandparents Robert “Gramps” Schmicker, Marvin Schultz, Robert and Hazel Suter and Duane “Bucky” Buckmaster.
The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, with Father Benjamin Muhlenkamp officiating. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. today and from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. A rosary service will be held there at 8:30 p.m. Monday. Calling hours will also be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
