LOGANSPORT — Lynn Ann Wilson, 68, Logansport, passed away at 11:11 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, in Logansport Memorial Hospital after suffering a massive stroke on Monday.
Born March 16, 1944, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Richard and V. Eileen Johnson Adair.
Lynn Ann was a graduate of Logansport High School. A homemaker, she had retired from the city of Kokomo where she had worked as a file clerk for 20 years. From 1980-1988, she worked at Darling Duds clothing store in downtown Logansport.
A member of Woodland Church of God in Kokomo, Lynn Ann was a devoted Christian who knew her Bible well. In earlier years, she was active at the former Ninth Street Christian Church. She taught Sunday School, was a member of Group 7 and enjoyed singing in the choir. She also attended Bible Study for many years at First United Methodist Church. She was a longtime member of Delta Theta Chi sorority. She had a very compassionate heart and was a faithful prayer warrior. Her final gift of loving kindness was the gift of life as an organ donor.
Surviving are two daughters, Lori Wilson and Elizabeth Wilson, both of Goshen; a brother, John Adair, Logansport; a sister, Terri Adair, Richmond; her nephews and nieces, Brandon and Kelly Adair, Frankfort, Mitzi and Sean Rogers, Dawn Fisher, and Duane and Lori Sailors, all of Logansport, and Diane and Pat Smith, Michigan; several cherished great-nieces and great-nephews; several cousins; and her special “granddogs” George and Myrtle.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, with her daughter, Lori Wilson, and Dr. David Harris, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel.
