LOGANSPORT —
Lloyd W. Lantz, 73, Logansport, passed away at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, in his residence.
Born Jan. 9, 1939, in Rapid City, South Dakota, he was the son of Arthur William and Edrie Marie Brave Lantz.
On Nov. 8, 2001, in Logansport, he was married to Teresa “Terri” Ross, who survives.
Lloyd was the retired manager of Superior Parts. He was a member of the VFW Post 3790, American Legion Post 60 and Logansport Eagles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Sally (Mike) Englert, Gary (Sharon) Lantz and Steve (Justina) Lantz, all of Logansport, Beth Myers, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Misty (Harry) Brew, Logansport.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Jeremy Lantz, Cassie Van Meter, Jonathan Lantz, Andrew Englert, Shelby Englert, Parker Englert, Brandon Barron and Ron Moyer; three great-grandchildren, Mason Reese, Madalyn Van Meter and Mya Van Meter, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2012, at Kroeger Funeral Home. The Rev. Ken Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kroeger Funeral Home.
