Mark E. Smith, 56, Logansport, died at 4:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, in his residence.
Born April 15, 1956, in Tipton to Cecil “Bud” Smith and Bernice Freeman.
He married Deborah S. Lemasters on Feb. 4, 1994, in Cass County.
Mark was an electrician and plummer for Countywide Electric & Plumbing, Delphi.
Mark enjoyed camping, woodworking, fishing and making people laugh.
Survivors include, wife, Deborah S. Smith, Logansport, daughter, Erica (Fredie) Elliott, Bloomington, daughter, Amber K. (Chris) Hanners, Bloomington, daughter, Jessica Soots, Indianapolis, son, Luke (Terri) Smith, Holton, son, Vincent Retartha, Peru, sister, Denise (Roger) Ryan, Windfall, sister, Patsy Carroll, Elwood, brother, Briggs Smith, Center, brother, Steve (Nina) Smith, Kokomo, and 11 grandchildren.
One brother, Bobbie Smith and one sister, Zella Ann Smith, preceded in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Steve Smith officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory.
Memorials may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
